Installation Guide

You must install and configure LDAP before it can be used by Sitecore. In general, the module configuration is dependent on the vendor (Microsoft Active Directory or Novell eDir), the LDAP authentication information and other details specific to implementation. This module is configured for Microsoft Active Directory by default. Document the entire intended configuration before installing the module. Caution is important as i mproper settings can cause the module or Sitecore to malfunction.
